EXTRA-ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING (EGM)

Notice of EGM

At the last AGM of Harley Owners Group-Singapore Chapter ('HOG Singapore’) held on 20th August 2016, members have requested the following motions which would possibily change certain procedures for the next AGM. Therefore, an EGM will be held on 15th January at 12:30pm to vote on the three following topics:

1. Change nomination process for the position of Head Road Captain at the next election. It is proposed that the candidate(s) for the position be nominated amongst the active Road Captains and Marshals. Election process itself to remain the same as other posts.
   
2. For the position of Safety Officer, it is proposed that the candidate for the position be appointed by the newly elected committee. The position to be held by some one who has adequate knowledge of group riding, safety, first aid, and accident scene management.
   
3. Change nomination process by having incoming committee members elected as a TEAM, instead of individuals/positions being elected one by one.
   

To introduce these possible changes to Harley Owners Group - Singapore Chapter and remain compliant with HOG Chapter Charter (HOG Constitution), an EGM is required at which all members are encouraged to attend and vote. Voting and attendance at the EGM are restricted to valid current members of the HOG Singapore Chapter.
