TOY RUN 2018

Our annual tradition of TOY RUN is just around the corner!

The fundraising for this year will be donated to Club Rainbow Singapore.

Club Rainbow is a non-profit organization with a mission to support and empower children with chronic illnesses & their families by providing compassionate relevant services in their journey towards an enriching life.

The history of Club Rainbow (Singapore) dates back to 1991 when the Rotaract Clubs of Singapore came together to organise a special camp for children with various chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

One of the unique features setoff Camp Rainbow was the individual attention paid to the health and well being of each little camper. Each child was paired with an adult Befriender throughout the duration of this residential camp.

Following the success of this camp, the idea was mooted to form a special charity dedicated to help such children and their families. While many of these children receive excellent medical care in hospitals, they and their families, had a host of other needs for which no one organisation could provide comprehensive and sustained support services.

We are expecting around 30 children that day, plus their caregivers!

Itinerary for the day:

11:00am         Registration open for HOG members

11:45am          Speech by Club Rainbow rep

12:00pm          Arrival of Guests and Kids with their families

12:15pm         HOG Directors welcome note

12:20pm         Magic show (30 min)

1:00pm         Buffet lunch

2:00pm         Xmas Present Presentation to the kids

3:00pm         End of the event

As a traditional fundraising and charitable event, we count on your generosity!

HDS will provide a Christmas themed Lunch for all Riders and our Guests.

There is also an opportunity for the members to donate gifts to the children. Please indicate your interest when registering and our activities officer(Klaus) will contact you with the details of the gender and age of the child. Please note that we would like you to limit the gifts to $30 or less.

You can also sponsor the Magic show and the bus transport for the kids. The relevant tickets are available to purchase during registration.

 A donation box will be there that day; so, feel free to donate on the event date too.

Our Traditional Toy Run 2018 PIN is also available for the first 100 members who participate with a minimum donation of $30 (and those that sponsor the bus/magic show). The donation can be made when you register online and the pin can be collected on the day of the Toy Run.
